INVEST NOW

Provide a young person with an opportunity to gain a social qualification that universities and employers are looking for

Considering our current economic climate, it is extremely difficult for most young people to stand out and access tertiary placement or employment.

Each year, thousands of young people across South Africa, eagerly enrol on our Award Programme to gain soft skills that universities and employers consider necessary for holistic development. They recognise the importance of going the extra mile and finding their purpose, passion and place in the world.

Unfortunately, this opportunity is not available to all young people. As much as it is easy to implement the Award in any context, reality is that it can still become quite costly for the most vulnerable and under-resourced communities in South Africa.

Through its framework, The President’s Award has been equipping youth with various, universal skills such as resilience, perseverance, confidence, leadership, teamwork, adaptability and emotional intelligence – for more than 35 years ensuring that young people develop a well-balanced lifestyle.  Our ambition is to make the Award available to every eligible young person in South Africa.

Make a difference in the life of a young person by donating.

HELP US DEVELOP LEADERS

By donating to our Award Programme, you will assist young people to gain an Award that is signed by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, as well as HE President Cyril M. Ramaphosa. In addition to a life-changing Certificate, you will also provide marginalised and vulnerable young people the opportunity to grow and  find their passion, purpose and place in the world.

With your contribution, you will make it possible for a young person to:

  • register for the Award:
  • complete sections of their Award at no cost;
  • attend an Award Ceremony; and
  • gain an internationally recognised Certificate.
